Samford University is a national, comprehensive, residential, Christ-centered university located in Homewood, Alabama, a suburb of Birmingham. Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President for Student Affairs serves as the chief student life officer of the University. Strategic, relational, innovative, and deeply grounded in the gospel, this executive will play a pivotal role in advancing a world-class student experience informed and inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus at a time of historic growth and investment at Samford. The new vice president will embody and champion Samford's mission, values, and vision, ensuring that the student affairs division remains a place where faith, learning, service, and community are intentionally prioritized and integrated into student programs, traditions, events, and resources.
